For Barbara Williams, Spiritual Warfare is not simply a class. What began as her own deeply personal journey — born from hardship, God's truth, and His healing power firsthand — became a calling that has transformed thousands of lives.​
For nearly three decades, she has taught believers who arrived confused, wounded, or spiritually stuck — and left knowing who they are, whose they are, and how to stand firm.

The Story Behind the Ministry
In 2001, Barbara's late husband, Russ, was diagnosed with prostate cancer. During that difficult season, they were introduced to Pastor Henry Wright and began learning about the connection between the spirit, soul, and body, and the Biblical understanding that God created us to live in wholeness. Together they discovered powerful truths about uncovering the spiritual roots that can affect emotional and physical health.​

They did not simply gain information - they discovered spiritual weapons in God's Word, truths they adopted in their own lives that brought freedom, healing, and hope. Through greater knowledge they received a path for access to the healing power of Jesus Christ. Russ experienced healing from cancer! Barbara received healing from arthritis and a mitral valve prolapse! Both healings were a direct result of dealing with spiritual roots of disease.
Out of that journey came a calling.

In 2013, they co-developed an 8-week Spiritual Warfare class, helping others discover God's path for freedom and healing. In 2015, they launched the Spiritual Warfare Walk-Out Class (the discipleship side of the ministry), meeting two Saturdays each month, a ministry that Barbara continues today. Since 2021, Barbara has continued teaching Spiritual Warfare at Restoration Church.

Many of Barbara's students have shared testimonies of overcoming struggles ranging from anxiety and depression to autoimmune conditions, lupus, and cancer, and much more, experiencing freedom and healing in Christ. The truth is many do not understand that God made us a tri-part being – spirit, soul and body. He created us to live and walk in all three areas in order to experience wholeness! She teaches that God's path is not random, but a simple application of His plan for our lives. John 10:10.
