For most of my Christian life, I didn't understand spiritual warfare. It wasn't something that was discussed or taught. I viewed many of life's struggles as simply circumstances to endure rather than battles to be fought through faith, prayer, and the authority God has given believers. I often tried to handle things on my own without consulting God or even considering that the enemy might be at work.

Spiritual warfare teaching opened my eyes to the reality that we have an enemy who seeks to discourage, distract, and defeat us, but we also serve a God who is far greater. It taught me how to recognize lies, fear, condemnation, and hopelessness for what they are and to replace them with God's truth. I learned the importance of putting on the Armor of God and going to war spiritually through prayer and His Word.

One of the biggest changes has been in how I respond to difficult emotions. When I feel anxious or angry, I now turn toward spiritual warfare instead of sitting in those feelings. Rather than allowing them to control me, I bring them before God and stand on His promises.

Spiritual warfare teaching has also changed my perspective. I no longer see every difficulty as something happening to me, but as an opportunity to draw closer to God and trust Him more deeply. It has strengthened my faith, increased my confidence in prayer, and helped me recognize the importance of guarding my thoughts and focusing on God's truth.

This teaching has helped me move from simply surviving difficult seasons to walking through them with greater confidence in God's power, His promises, and His faithfulness.
